Classy Kids Child Development Center, Inc

my daughter was in Kindergarten and was picked up everyday on the Classy Kids after school bus. Mary Jo (facility director) called me while I was at work from her cell phone stating my daughter was very sick and felt very warm she was sweating and just not herself. I didn't think anything of it, kids get sick nothing new she was with her father that week and I knew if she needed to be taking to the doctor he would take her no worries! Later that evening her dad called He said Leah told him that they left her on the bus by herself. I was confused i didn't understand she got on the phone and said she had fell asleep on the bus and woke up and no one was there she tried to open the doors and could not get out. She said she was crying and couldn't breath, She said one of her teachers who I know very well pulled up because she forgot her cellphone heard my daughter screaming and crying on the bus through a window. She said the teacher ran inside grabbed keys to open the door of the bus she said she picked her up and ran inside to the front office. Now trust me when I say I was absolutely FLOORED!! This daycare was one of the best daycare facilities in Greenville county how could this happen..why did Mary Jo lie to us and try and cover this up. I trusted this daycare so much because we have family that works there. My daughters father went in the following day and it wasn't pretty of course it wouldn't be we were being lied to! We had a conference call with her father, Deanna(Owner) and Mary Jo(Director). They were silent the entire time. I made them promise me the rules and regulations would change, I wanted them to count every child that enters the bus and exits the bus its a no brainier it should have been done before this incident. I told them i wanted a write up and incident report some type of documentation (We never received). They told me they had let go the girl that left my daughter on the bus, they later stated they did not report her to DSS WONDER WHY??

The owners do not understand what the kids need. They do not know how to treat their employees. Most of the reviews are from the owners or their friends who are getting a great discount. They take the extra money from raising prices (and not improving anything) to put in a pool at their house or to buy a new BMW.

If I could give 0 stars I would. My son went to Classy Kids for 9 months, the last 3 months were hell. Afternoon's there would be 2 teachers and about 20 kids in toddlers classroom. Teachers did NOT follow my son's doctors orders. They had lost his medicine.... TWICE! And everytime I would bring matters up to director, she would say one thing but teachers would do another. The price at Classy Kids is cheaper than most, so I guess you get what you pay for. Building is really nice, just wish the staff was up to par.

The most beautiful and cheerful child development center I've ever seen. Each and every class room has been designed to stimulate the children and promote learning. The teachers are top-notch and so is the curriculum. I highly recommend enrolling your child at Classy Kids!

This is a first class new facility. The staff is friendly and they pay close attention to the children and help advance their development. Great student to teacher ratio.

My son attended Classy Kids from birth until age 8. He loved all the teachers and the facility was awesome. I would highly suggest this school to anyone.
