Tacos El Norte Gurnee

I would give a 4 star because the food is good and fast and inexpensive (only come for lunch) but the owners really need to work with the wait staff. Once the food is delivered those girls go to the bar and stand with their backs to the restaurant and don't look back. We have had to get up on numerous occasions or have to ask the hostess for service. Happens everytime we come in.

This restaurant was delicious and well priced for a poor college student. You get a lot of bang for your buck as far as the amount of food they serve you. I tried a sort of sample platter and my boyfriend got the chili rellenos. They were both excellent. I think they had more servers there than there were customers (and it was pretty busy). Our food came out in about 5 minutes at dinnertime on a Friday evening. It was great. I will definitely go back when I am in town.

We had a wonderful time, with live band, wonderful food, and service. Will for sure go back... Good for the kids too.
