        Bethany is your child's learning place. We believe in "Learning through Teaching." Our approach is based on the belief that children already know how to play but need instruction to learn in today's competitive world. We give every child the tools they will use for the rest of their life, starting with the Bible as the foundation. We accept children from 2 years to 5 years old. Tuition for 2 years old is $160.00 week. Tuition for children 3 to 4 years old is $150.00 per week; kindergarten is $140.00 per week. You can receive a $5.00 per week discount when enrolled in our automatic payments program. We accept vouchers. Bethany Christian Day Care is Woodlawn's oldest and best known child care center. With 40 years of service to the Woodlawn, Bethany has started hundreds of children on the road to success. Bethany uses the ABeka Curriculum for its Nursery, Preschool and Kindergarten classes. Our teachers have been at Bethany an average of 10 years. When parents want an emphasis on education, the chose Bethany Christian Day Care. Bethany Christian Day Care is a ministry of Bethany United Church of Christ. Bethany is a Christian Day Care that teaches Bible stories and songs. We believe it is never too early to learn about God

        Bethany Day Care opens at 6:30 am and closes at 6:00 pm. We serve breakfast, a hot lunch and two snacks. We have a chef who makes all of our food on-site. The children eat a variety of meats, fruits and vegetables you can't get in a lunchbox.

        Overall

        The teachers had no interest in the children, they were more concerned with their personal cell phones. The children would nap longer then they were suppose to and then after nap most of the time they would watch something on the tv or computer. Then the children would be put in time out for being fidgety. I'm not sure what was to be expected for 3 & 4 year olds that had no stimulation. Worst preschool experience ever!

        My 2 yr old Son attend this "C...

        My 2 yr old Son attend this "Christian" daycare for about 6 months. I would pop in and our here and there, but the last time I was there Ms. Vanessa (The Director) was running things and the kids were outside at the playground. There were 4 "Teachers" that were suppose to be watching them. I was outside in the parking lot for 30 mins to only see my Son and the rest of the kids get ignored, all while the so called teacher stood in a circle drinking soda passing a one liter around their circle. During this time my Son was trying to get on the swing with no success and tried telling the teacher 3 times to only get ignored....he then moved on to the slide to get bullied by the older kids being kicked in the back for 2 min then pushed to the side! All this could have been prevented if the teacher were doing there job and watching the children, after that my son went back to the swing only to get one of 2 yr old teachers to be swinging on the swing and would not allow him to se it he then tried going on the other swing and no one helped him so the whole time I was outside, he got absolutely no help. Parents I warn you to NOT bring you precious child to this school because these teacher show no interest in our children, they are only there for the money and they DO NOT perform in excellence. I thank God for revealing this behavior to me sooner than later. I pray they all get the right people to run this daycare because the way it's going... it's just not right!!!!



        Also my Son ALWAYS came home dirty with dirt in his eyes, ears and nostrils and his hands NEVER washed. This was just one of the many issues that I had with them and they never improved. This is a Christian School but they are operating like they don't know the Lord.

        Overall

        My daughter has learned so much in her classes, especially about God's love! I am forever indebted to them for the educational and spiritual foundation they helped me create in her.
