Eyedox

I recently went to Eyedox and I had one of the worst t experiences of my life in dealing with a medical professional (including my 4 years and counting of working in the healthcare field). Never in my life have I come across a doctor as unprofessional and rude as Dr. Tandler. From the minute I stepped in his office,he used a condescending tone towards me as if he was somehow better than I was. He may have been doing this to me since I am a minority but I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt and ignored this mistreatment until the end of the appt. When I told the receptionist I didn’t realize getting a prescription for contacts was going to be $75 and wouldn't have tried on the contacts if I had known that it wouldn't be covered by my insurance,the Dr. came out of his office. He said " you didnt understand WHAT?" He then told me in a very rude way "GIVE me my contacts back." He then proceeded to follow me to the garbage and then asked me to hand him the contacts and counted each one out loud once I had taken them out. My husband and I were in shock and could not believe what was happening. The receptionist was extremely sweet and kept apologizing for the doctors behavior. We later confronted him and he tried to deny his obvious contempt.



I was so embarrassed that I started to cry.

What goes around comes around and I know for sure his rude immature behavior will catch up to him. Please save yourself time and find an eye doctor that cares for his/her customers.
