Humane Society WA County

I adopted two cats from here. Spent $75 for adoption fees. They were a Christmas gift for my kids. I get one home and he has diarrhea. I get the other one home and she has sniffles and sneezes runny nose. mind you they didn't spay her before she came home. They gave me a voucher to go and do it myself. I asked them about her sniffles they told me she would be fine. That's it's a "normal" thing to happen when they are in the humane society.So now I have 2 sick cats at my house. I get them to the vet my total bill comes out to more then $120 (which I don't have right now. I'm a single mother of 2) I called the humane society to see if they could do anything to help me out and they told me it was my responsibility. This is coming from the same people who say don't adopt from craigslist or an outside source because you never know what your adopting. Well I believe it is the same with them! They charged me for two sick cats and shrug their shoulders catch an attitude with me and tell me it's my fault. Steve was extremely rude and abrasive and I would suggest that you really do your research on the animal or go to another shelter that will actually provide you with healthy pets!
