Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

Dr Patricia McKay is a native of Maryland. She attended the Uniformed Services University (USU), School of Medicine, graduating in 1993. This was followed by a General Surgery Internship and Orthopedic Surgery Residency at the National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda, MD. Alice joined the Center of Advanced of Orthopedics Parkway Division in 2020 after practicing almost 10 years in the Baltimore Washington area. She graduated from University of Maryland Eastern Shore in 2010 where she has practiced in the outpatient setting specializing in post op conditions and creating functional activities for patients. In her spare time, she can be found outside gardening, hiking or inside reading.

Our goal is to provide the best possible orthopedic care to our patients in a friendly, caring atmosphere. We welcome patients of all ages; from infants to senior citizens. Our board-certified orthopaedic surgeons and staff offer expertise in joint replacement surgery of the hip, knee, and shoulder, as well as hand surgery, arthroscopy, fracture treatment, and sports injuries.
Joint Replacement
Our therapists stay at the top of their game through continuing education, always learning about the latest treatment techniques. They have extensive experience in post-operative rehabilitation, particularly rotator cuff and labral repairs of the shoulder, knee surgeries such as ACL reconstruction and patellar alignment, hand injuries and surgeries, including tendon and nerve repairs, and total joint replacement of the shoulder, hip, and knee. In addition, our occupational therapist is a Certified Lymphedema Therapist who treats lymphedema in both the upper and lower extremities.
Hand Surgery
Dr. Richard S. Milford is a board-certified, fellowship trained Hand and Upper Extremity Surgeon. He attended Columbia University, Mount Sinai School of Medicine and was an orthopaedic resident at Albert Einstein Hospital. Following his orthopaedic training, he spent a fellowship year studying and performing hand surgery in a program affiliated with the University of Connecticut and Yale University. His treats a variety of orthopaedic patients with a focus on hand and upper extremity care.
Orthopedic Surgery
Dr. Koli was born in Accra, Ghana. He graduated from Cornell College and subsequently received his medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine, Washington, D.C., a prestigious HBCU, graduating with honors. He then completed a rigorous five-year orthopedic surgery residency at Howard University Hospital, where he became involved in providing orthopedic care to the surrounding communities. He became an academic chief resident and graduated with honors. He was then selected for a Sports Medicine fellowship at the Ochsner Sports Medicine Institute in New Orleans where he served as assistant team physician for the New Orleans Pelicans, and team physician for Xavier University Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams, as well as several nationally competitive local high school football teams including Holy Cross and St. Charles Catholic.

Knee Replacement
Viscosupplementation therapy is an appropriate treatment for people with knee arthritis that has failed to respond to more conservative therapy. A solution of hyaluronic acid is injected directly into the knee joint to restore the cushioning and lubricating properties of normal joint fluid. It is useful for people who are trying to delay surgery or are not candidates for knee replacement surgery. Injections are typically given weekly for 3 or 4 weeks.
