Went there during a weekday after work with family, checked online saw they were open till 10pm, we get there at 7:45 and had great service waitress was very sweet and attentive! After getting our meals the staff is running around hurrying like they are closing, then a lady starts running a vacuum!!!! Awesome, I LOVE having dust all up in my face while eating and having to yell to have a conversation with my family!!! After asking the waitress what time they closed she said they were closed then, confused I showed her the time on the Internet, she said yea the management decides to close early if there is no one here (ok understandable), and that's the general manager running the vacuum. WOW!! Food was good, service was good, but come on lets be respectful "management" not only is it unsanitary it's rude!! Someone needs to take some etiquette classes!

Excellent Dinner! Brother from Solivita took my wife and I to dinner here. Mostly to show off the new favorite place of him and his wife. Apparently they are not alone as you look through the dining room it is a sea of faces from Solivita.
Solivita residents are very particular and have no reservations in sharing their comments and concerns on their dining experiences or I should say their life experiences.
It was unanomous that they LOVE this establishment. Apparently so much that they have recommended Solivita employees jump ship at their own restaurant and join the ranks and team at The Port.
All of those that I have spoken to during my visit have shared nothing but positive experiences.
In my week long visit I had the pleasure of having dinner twice and lunch at this fine establishment and will of course visit it again upon my next arrival.
Living in South Florida/Palm Beach area I have enjoyed some wonderful seafood restaurants and as I have stated before this ranks right up there if not better then some of those in the South. My years of travel have brought me to many destinations and many meals abroad and in the states. This charming establishment has such a warm and inviting feeling with its decor and the beautiful lake views.
The staff, well those that we have had the pleasure of meeting and that have served us have also been very polite and friendly.
I have told Connie we will be back in late March to see the decor changes that are in the works.
We will of course visit this lovely place on each of our visits.
