Church Street Elementary School, founded in 1924, offers education to students in kindergarten through sixth grade. Its academic curriculum includes language arts, mathematics, science and social studies. The school has a family resource center that provides a variety of support services, such parenting programs, playgroups for children and caregivers, adult education programs and training for family child care providers. Church Street Elementary School also has a library that offers a range of print and electronic resources. Additionally, the school has a parent-teacher association that organizes various fundraising programs.
