Had an AC emergency this past June, couldn't get anyone for the AC repair needed within tolerable time in regards to the heat... Cox's Old Colony Plumbing and HVAC was able to get to us, and resolve our cooling repair needs, within 2 days of our AC emergency whereas the earliest some were giving us was a week+. Air conditioner coils were freezing over, and rotting out... needed 410a for our AC system and a new coil install... Worked out well, working well.... Thanks Cox's Old Colony Plumbing and HVAC.

Had same experience as Ivan D. Horrendous installation. Bad wiring had to be redone by a licensed electrician. The under gauged wiring was hanging loose from the unit and sparks started coming out of the box when bumped. Bad 12 volt wiring came loose and was shorting the motherboard. The thermostat was broken and never tested at installation which would have determined the system was not producing heat. Never closed the 3 inch gap between the air handler and duct system so the majority of the air was going into the closet where the air handler is installed. Never insulated the copper lines outside which the owner said doesn't matter. I guess heating the outside is more beneficial than the inside. The copper lines which distribute the freon should be insulated and not bare. Was without heat and took 10 days and 4 techs to get the system working. None of them knew how the system should work. Unfortunately I had to hire an electrician to fix the faulty wiring that almost started a fire at my own cost. Scary that the owner said this is how all their wiring is done. At least inform the homeowners they should hire a licensed electrician if they are incapable or not licensed to do this. I had to close the 3 inch gap myself since the owner never followed through. I had to take the breaker panel apart and replace the blown fuse from their faulty wiring because the tech they sent left and never came back. I am still waiting for the promised vent cover and duct insulation, but I did it myself since I knew they would never follow through. I have 3 pages describing this horrendous experience showing all phone calls, no shows, and issues since I could no longer keep track of how bad the service was and wasn't sure if I needed to bring another company in. It is well documented with pictures, texts, and emails. Hopefully no one ever has to go through this. I could post pictures, texts, and a lot more information, but hopefully this review is enough.

Horrible customer service. They have good workers but once you give the owner the check, forget about any additional issues because he won't come back! All I wanted was a receipt and a courtesy checkup (which I was promised), and every week I call him (for the last 3 months) he always "sick"...so be careful and put things in writing if you deal with this owner...
