I first met Doug Jones when I needed a roof estimate. Doug's bid not only was the lowest in price, it was the highest in quality. He used better materials and went beyond what "code" says you need to do. So rather than the bare minimum, I got best quality for a cheaper price than bare minimum that the other companies quoted me. My roof was done with the utmost quality and professionalism.

A few months later I discovered a major structural problem with my foundation as the result of an IMPROPERLY installed stone patio several years ago. Doug came in and quickly re-assured me that this was fixable. Once again his bid was outstanding and once again the quality was beyond the "bare" minimum you would get with other contractors. The work involved many many hours of hand digging the foundation, taking up the stone patio, re - grading the landscape, fixing the foundation and sealing it, putting in proper drains and putting it all back together. The absolute amazing thing was that his workers in the most meticulous manner, put every single stone back in its exact place and if they could not get the stones to lay right, they took them back up, re - graded the area and started all over again to make it right.

My patio is now graded correctly to take the water away from the house and the foundation is now 100% properly drained and sealed.

If you are not using Kenny's Home Improvement your probably paying too much and getting a lesser quality result.

After talking with numerous builders in the area, we decided to go with Doug Jones of Kenny's Home Improvment Company to finish our basement. I have to say we made an excellent choice. Doug made great suggestions on the approach and went the extra mile when it came to the attention to detail. We were blown away by the end result. Doug Jones of Kenny's Home Improvement Company has helped me out with my recent purchased home, mainly the roof. I knew buying the house I would need a new roof soon and I tried to go through my Home Warranty company to get the roof repaired because it was leaking. The Home Warranty company picked a roofing company out of Winchester and they where a joke, showed up put some calk on the roof around the leaking skylight and left without a phone call or even ringing the doorbell. Lets just say the skylight was still leaking and I tried to contact this roofing company and they kept ignoring my calls or saying they will send someone out. After 3 weeks of this I just gave up called my Home Warranty company I will pay for the repairs myself and called Kenny's Home Improvements, Doug was over the next day of the call and within a week he was on my roof with a few of his guys replacing a part of the roof because the wood was rotten. He is back again this spring to replace the rest of the roof with a great price and the work does not suffer either. I would recommend these guys to any of my friends or family, and will go through them for some of my other projects I need done to my house.

Meticulous work, I am so happy with Doug Jones and all of the professionals who have worked on my house. They started on my house two days after signing the contract, which is outstanding in my opinion. I had recessed lights installed in my kitchen, wood floors laid, painting in my entryway, locks installed, etc and everything has been done top notch. Doug's earned a lifelong customer! We have had several jobs done by Kenny's Home Improvement, and its owner Doug Jones, and we have been very satisfied. They have remodeled two bathrooms, including replacing a toilet, and installing a whole-house water filter. They have also cut some trees and fixed a fence that a tree fell on, power-washed the house and deck, and repainted the deck. Whenever we need something done, we call Kenny's. They always show up when promised, and finish a job when expected, and you know how much it is going to cost. They are responsible (Doug has access to our house), and they always clean up, never leaving a mess. We definitely recommend Kenny's Home Improvement, and owner, Doug Jones.

Kenny’s Home Improvement has remodeled our kitchen, installed a new roof, and gutters, replaced a skylight, repaired our chimmney and installed a new well pump at our place in Shannondale.

They also built a custom shed and retaining wall on our property.



If you need anything done to your home Kenny’s is the only place you need to go. All of the work they have done was professionally finished on time or ahead of schedule for a reasonable price. I highly recommend Kenny’s Home Improvement for ANY job large or small.

The recent storm in July caused extensive damage to my home. I called Kenny's Home Improvement Co. They made an appointment to give me a detailed estimate. They were on time for the appointment date. Doug Jones, the owner, personally came out and spoke with me. The job was completed in a timely and professional manner. I have recommended him to my friends. After speaking with my friends I was made aware that he has been in business for many years.
