I am sorry to have delayed my post...Upon the recommendation & believing in supporting local companies (especially those who have been in business as long as FLS or Freight Land Sky claimed in their fax. We were told their rates were unchanged...Unfortunately we kept being charged for incidentals which included everything from other customers debris removal, insurance, labor, waiting time and fuel surcharges which were much higher than our company was not only quoted but guaranteed by the forwarding agent. Given every opportunity to demonstrate their redeeming qualities they advertise...they are not a company we would recommend or have future dealings.



Instead of wasting further time we requested the forwarder cancel the delivery... we were willing to pay TWICE. Unlike Freight Land Sky and what appears to be a business practice after making inquiries...we will not list the competitor who we gladly paid to complete the shipment. The rates, quality, character and service the competitor provided were cheaper and were what we had originally anticipated. Apparently there are several other companies locally who re able to provide a better range of services, including small vehicles, and pickup points directly at the Airport/Station who can act as the broker and enable cutting out folks like them altogether!



I believe there is no reason to support local companies who can't or won't support their prospective customers and seem to foster a workforce that likewise seems to not care the customer can hear them laughing, mocking and cursing...



Their staff should remember or make a mental "note to self (staff)"...remember to place the customer on hold before doing so as most mandate recording calls. You just may find yourselves facing a law or discrimination suit instead of just losing customers!
