The Russian Lady

I frequented this establishment in the past but will never go back again. I went with a large group of people...more than 50. By the end if the night they had literally thrown a friend of mine down the stairs. His shirt was ripped and he had a bloody knee. The bouncers were extremely rough with him. All he had done was ask why another member of our group was kicked out. This isn't the only time I have seem this but the first time I knew the whole story. The bouncers in both cases used neck holds and force without warning. Just asking people to leave first, would work, and I'd go back. I don't feel safe going to this establishment. The bouncers are under-educated goons with no aspirations or life goals. I think they feel macho being able to mangle people and feel invincible. They clearly don't understand how to interact with humans and act like animals. I will never go back to this place since Pour House is way better! This used to be my favorite bar in Hartford but no longer. I have heard that there is pending legal action against this bar for similar offenses.

Can you give less than 1 star? I live downtown. The place charges a cover and provides you with high priced drinks, a cheap vodka bar, and unfriendly customer service.



There are a lot of bars downtown, I recommend Black Bear, Poor House, Pigs Eye, or even Up Or On The Rocks, anywhere but here.



There staff treats you so poorly that I will never spend a dollar there again. I never have written a review, but they have mistreated me so badly that I signed up just to let others know.
