Smith's Fried Chicken

Went to Hazelhurst for the horse auction and decided to go somewhere to eat. When we saw Smiths we decided to try it for the first time. Walking in it looked a little rundown but sometimes you cant go by looks. There was 3 of us and 2 of us ordered the chicken tenders. As we sat there freezing for 20 minutes we finally got our food. The chicken tenders had no taste at all like they were rolled in plain flour. The chicken was so dry and chewy you needed lots of sauce just to eat them. There was a sign posted if displeased please call. I called the next day and told her and she asked me what do you suggest I do. Thats no manager. I told her it sounded like she really didn't care and she hung up on me. I would like to go to a higher up person who cares. What I could see in the kitchen from where I was sitting reminded me of kitchen nightmares. Will get the word out, never again.

My son and I go all over rural areas looking for the best fried chicken. Smith's is just fabulous. I defy you to find as good, much less better. It is the recipe Col. Sanders was seeking i believe. Eric and Brian Smith ( no relation, alas), Jacksonville , Florida

THIS IS A GOOD PLACE FOR FRIED CHICKEN AND FRIES. THEY HAVE A DELICIOUS BUFFET ON THE WEEKDAYS AND SUNDAY. VERY GOOD!
