General Info
Seven Hills Hospital brings compassionate medical and psychiatric care to adults and adolescents (ages 12 and up) suffering from mental health issues, alcoholism and drug abuse. We even offer specialized treatment for active duty military and veterans. At Seven Hills we set a high standard of psychiatric care and addiction rehabilitation, and are proud to offer patients a relaxing therapeutic environment where holistic healing can begin. Our bright new two story facility is located in the beautiful upscale neighborhood of Seven Hills, nestled in the foothills of Henderson, Nevada. Patients receive caring, individualized treatment from our highly-skilled therapists and board certified psychiatrists. Our facility is divided into three wings in order to create appropriate and separate environments for our three main areas of treatment: psychiatric, substance abuse, and substance abuse with co-occurring psychiatric disorders. We are uniquely equipped to offer safety, privacy and recovery to patients suffering from acute mental health issues and/or addiction disorders. Alcoholism and drug addiction are debilitating diseases affecting the body, mind and spirit as they destroy lives and tear families apart. At Seven Hills Hospital, these diseases are managed using medically supervised detoxification and 12-step programs for recovery and relapse prevention. Medical detoxification takes patient comfort and safety into account. Comprehensive examinations and assessments are conducted by a team of addiction specialists. Our doctors and clinicians can then design an individualized treatment plan informed by each patient's chronic patterns of addiction, co-occurring disorders and individual risk factors. Psychiatric care at Seven Hills Hospital is designed to bring healing to those suffering from major mental health issues. These disorders are devastating to individuals and families, and our goal is to see patients stabilized, restored and renewed. Our multi-disciplinary staff, including board certified psychiatrists, treat a broad spectrum of mental disorders in adults and adolescents (ages 12 and up), including: Major Depression Anxiety Disorders / Panic Attacks Schizophrenia Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Bipolar Disorder / Manic Depression Suicidal Tendencies Obsessive Compulsive Disorders (OCD) Self-Injury (Cutting) Disorders Postpartum Depression (PPD) Various Acute Phobias Borderline Personality Disorder Our psychiatric treatment program involves a careful assessment of each patient and the creation of individualized goals and objectives for healing. Confidential reasons - A loved one of mine was involuntarily taken to Seven Hills.. This place is not a behavioral center They treat people like they are in a prison. No empathy
No compassion... Please either shut the facility down or hire people WHO CARE

I spent a week in the youth division after a suicide attempt and it was horrible. The staff was unsympathetic, and it was more like a prison with the staff monitoring you 24/7. If you expect to get mental help here, this is not the place to go. You speak with a 'psychiatrist' for about 30 seconds a day and they ask superficial questions which you lie about or else they'll keep you there longer. They have group therapy but it's short and doesn't do much if you're severely depressed like I was.
Please do not send your children here if possible. Get them real help as this place does not offer any help for severely depressed children .

I was admitted to Seven hills two weeks ago for severe depression and suicidal thoughts. I saw Dr. Ho and fund out the bipolar medication I was taking was wrong for me. He adjusted my medication and I feel most more stable than I ever have. The nurses and techs were very helpful. We had group sessions in the day room. You could tell the kitchen staff really made an effort to cook good food and even made sure there was something for my vegan diet. Special thanks to tech John in generation unit.
Now if you are looking for a fancy room with stable roommate, you are probably not going to be happy.
Remember you are in a behavior hospital. The techs may be stern at times, but they do their jobs protecting you. The majority of the patients care only about 3 things, when do we eat, when do I get my meds, and number one issue.....When is smoke break! The verbal demands and abuse on the staff is terrible! I am very grateful to the staff and Dr. Ho, they genuinely gave me back my sanity!

I went to Seven Hills hospital, because I was in a very deep depression. I had been in another hospital 3 times, and I finally decided to go somewhere else. Im so glad I did. The staff was so very caring and understanding. My Dr, really listened to me. They dont shove you in groups all day. I am finally on the right meds. Thank God for Seven Hills Hospital. They saved my life.

This is a homeless shelter. The doc meets with you for literally 2 minutes with the social worker and other staff trying to get all their paperwork in so they can bill medicare quickly. Then you can ask the doc for drugs you never been on and he will give them to you!!!!

I can not believe the incompetence of the staff members at this facility. To think that staff members would treat there patients with such Disrespect is just disgusting. My wife was admitted involuntary due to a break down from depression. They have refused to give her her prescription prenatal and instead offer her another pill that she does not recognize. When she asked for melatonin to help her sleep they tried to have her take benadryl. Last I knew you are not supposed to take medicine for any reason except what it is intended for. Benadryl is not to be used as a sleep aid. She was told that they give it to everyone to help them sleep. Once she saw the doctor and the doctor prescribed her melatonin for sleep one of the nurses brought her a form and insisted she sign it without reading it or she would not get her melatonin. She refused and read it anyway and found they had checked visceral as her medication. She refused to sign and was told she was not aloud to keep the paper. She did anyway and is now being treated as if she is bucking the system. I called the hospital to speak to a patient advocate and of course their was not one on duty. I instead was transferred to the "supervisor" on duty. Not a doctor mind you. "SUPERVISOR" Laviano informed me that it is a general medicine given to all patients in the facility and there was no need for a prescription or doctor. After I explained it is illegal to give prescription meds without a doctor he backtracked and said it was prescribed. He also told me they were going to extend her involuntary stay past the 72 hr. hold. I asked him why and his response was that it always gets extended. I then asked if her doctor had said that and he stated he didn't know if she had seen one. How did a doctor prescribe these meds? My wife is 36 weeks pregnant and not supposed to take anything that is not cleared by her ob and a medically licensed psychiatrist. My wife asked Laviano to see her medical records and she was told that they can't show them to her. She later found a nurse that let her look at them and guess what. No prescription for visceral. She then was told that it had been a mistake and it happens. This morning she asked to see her doctor and talk to a patient activist and was told they weren't available yet. Today her 72 hr. hold is over. When the doctor finally did come to her room she was told that she needed to calm down because staff has said she is acting out. My wife has had her episodes during her depression but she has been in there for almost 3 days and I have been speaking to her everytime she is aloud to use the phone. She is perfectly calm and thinking clearly. Not acting out. The staff is persecuting her now because she released the numbers to me for department of human services and the licensure and certification board so I can lodge complaints. She has also tried to call but has not been able to proceed due to sudden limited phone access. I will be taking this further and would like for everyone out their that has dealt with the incompetence of this facility to do the same. Things need to change and patients should be treated with respect and helped to get better. Not doped up and treated as criminals. One last thing. While my wife was in group all the patients were asked to name there prescriptions and why they were taking them. My wife and one other person were the only ones that new what they were taking. No other patients did. Very sad that people are still being thrown away in these facilities when we know so much more about how to treat these disorders. I would advice anyone thinking of using this facility to get help or a family memberer help to stay far away and consider other resources. I call it a facility because it is not a hospital. A hospital is where you go to seek help and healing.

I was in the partial hospital program, where I went 5x a week for 6 hours a day for group therapy. KC, the therapist was amazing, and the staff was friendly, efficient, and helpful. My meds were corrected and the group therapy taught me some wonderful coping skills. This was a very positive experience and I was there for 4 weeks! I highly recommend this place, and remember when reading the reviews, people only leave reviews when their experiences are negative. There's always a reason why someone would be let out early, whether it be insurance or non compliance. This is a very well run program. Renee

I am traumatized after staying here 4 days. I was brought here involuntarily after a routine Doctor appointment. Because I had mentioned how stressed and depressed I was and felt that my meds needed to be changed otherwise I didn't think I'd be able to cope, I was brought to Seven Hills instead of doing the SMART thing and getting me on the correct medications and counseling. I felt extremely anxious and upset, was treated like a child at all times and was not allowed to cry otherwise they think you are nutty!! People, seriously these are normal emotions!! Because of the law here in NV, I was placed on a 72 hour hold, which of course lasted longer than that. There was nothing but drama, nothing to do but sit and be more bored, depressed and lonely, and don't assume you'll get any sleep because you won't, trust me. They keep the bedroom doors open at all times with lights glaring down the hallways. You hear noise and constant shuffling of the staff with their clip boards and papers checking to see that everyone is in their room, they even flash a damn light in your face, no joke, it's horrendous! The food is gross, most of the staff act like they are better than you (even though we damn well know they've been through something in their own lifetime) they look down on you and respond with very little concern or respect. You're lucky if you even get that. I was so grateful to come home to my family and work out my issues the way they should have been in the first place. If you have a family member, or perhaps it is yourself that is thinking about coming here who suffers from any kind of emotional distress or other condition, please, for the love of God do NOT bring them here, you will feel nothing but regret!!!

Seven Hills, avoid them!!!

My daughter was sent here for anxiety and alchol issues. She was there 8 days. She came home on Wednesday and Thursday night she attempted suicide. They issued her pills on top of pills and sent her on her way. These doctors do not care, they only care about their kickbacks from the drug companies. She has NEVER attempted suicide..... I wonder if they would have their wives, daughters, mothers etc take these pills. I am seeking legal today. I wouldn't even give a star but this website requires at least one.
