Pho Miss Saigon

The food is great, but the service is terrible so we eat here about half as often as we would if the service were good. While they have been under construction, the overall atmosphere is a pleasant one with a cafe feel.



The place has only been open for maybe a year (not quite) and when we are there it seems that your host/server is the only English speaking person in the building and probably had no prior experience serving before this restaurant was opened. He's nice enough, but clearly has no idea what he is doing as he answers the phones, readies take out, preps misenplais, and waits on however many tables happen to be there at the time. We called for takeout one night and were told by the girl that answered that the place was packed and could they just call us when their rush was done and they were ready to accept takeout orders- it would be at least half an hour. We were ordering pho- pho does not take half an hour and there are only 12-15 tables in this restaurant, "packed" is a relative term.
