General Info: Plastipak Packaging is a worldwide manufacturer of plastic packaging products. The company targets a variety of industries, including the beverage, consumer cleaning, food, processed drinks, industrial, automotive, packaged goods, health and personal care and distilled spirits industries. Plastipak uses a patented process for manufacturing several package barrier solutions, including inner surface barrier treatments, multi-layer barrier treatments and polymer barrier treatments. The company has also developed its own heat set technology for hot fill applications, a wide mouth line of packaging and a full line of G.E.M. Pak Wheel extrusion products. Plastipak maintains its worldwide headquarters in Plymouth, Mich., a package development center in Medina, Ohio, and manufacturing sites throughout North America, Argentina, Brazil, Slovakia, Luxemburg and Czechoslovakia.
