Slow & Low Barbeque

Slow & Low is the only actual bbq joint in town. Lack of competiton does not seem to affect them much, but there is room for improvement. The pulled pork is pretty good with the house sauce, though the buns are standard fare. The house sauce is acceptable, but nothing extraordinary - similar to sweeter Carolina or Kansas style sauces, but without any real spice. The sides, while limited, are tasty enough to order again. The brisket, though, has been overcooked the last two times I tried it. Other items on the menu are average-to-decent quality. It is worth going there for a meal, but not if you are coming from outside the county looking for a meal.
