I purchased two beds, one for my son and one for myself. Our salesperson Trish was phenomenal! She spent well over an hour making sure I had the matress that was best suited for me due to my physical challenges. She was not trying to sell me the most expensive, but what was suited to me. She even left specific instructions for the delivery crew as to how low the platform needed to be. I even received a handwritten thank you card from her; something I haven't seen done for many years! I eould definitely recommend seeing her if you are looking for a new bed!

Bought an expensive power reclining sectional, came 6 weeks later broken, took nearly 2 weeks to get a service call, they came on a Sat. after 8:30., the service man said the leg was broken and parts were missing the cushions do not line up with the rest of the set.He said it would be another 4-6 weeks to order the parts. They refuse to return the broken wedge without charging me 25%, At this point I just want to return the defective piece. Now I notice the love seat seems to be listing... Only 2 weeks old... Not happy at all with the product or service terms.

The selection of furniture is really good but the customer service at this store is terrible. My 80 year old mother found a sofa and recliner that she liked in November, and was promised both pieces would be in at the beginning of January. The sofa came in, but he chair was still not in... and they did not know when it would be in. As not to make an extra trip, she waited, and waited. She contacted the salesman Mark. To our disappointment,he only offered an extra delivery fee of over $100.00 to compensate her for her trouble. When she complained about that , he offered to cut the delivery fee in half. The delivery area was no more than 10 miles away, and for her trouble the sales person should have offered the delivery free of charge. Believe me she paid plenty for the sofa and chair, and she could have paid for the delivery, but it was a matter of principle. Take a lesson. Treat your customers like someone you want to come back and visit, because we will not be back, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!

I went in last night to buy furniture and was dealing with Barry. (my salesman) He seemed to grow quite frustrated everytime I would ask him questions and had to repeatedly say he had to talk with the manager. Every 5 minutes or so he would come back to me and say he is sorry and the manager is still not available. Eventually enough was enough so I had to leave the store from frustration. Upon leaving Barry finally asked me for my name and did not provide me a card of his own. I eventually offered up my phone number and ask that he call me tomorrow and he stated it was his day off but he will come in and put the deal together for me in the morning. I still have not heard from Barry or anyone else from Art Van. I have tried to call the store many times myself to try and secure my furniture and have not spoke to anyone because the phone does not get answered.
