Sea Legs Drift Fishing

To start I had to wait a couple months to get a reservation set because I used a Groupon to purchase a trip. The evening before the trip I was texted asking if I could choose another time or date to do the trip because they were over booked. I explained plans were already made so I was unable to change the reservation and they said ok. At the 10:30pm that night I got another text, mind you the boat trip was for 8:15am the next morning. The text stated my trip needed to be canceled due to a burial at sea. I asked why I wasn’t notified not only a few hours prior when they asked me to reschedule but days ago because a sea burial is not something you plan the night before. I’m pretty sure it was a female named Jessica who got very defensive and became very unprofessional. I guess the one who paid more got my reservation because she told me “So sad you can’t use your Groupon!” I go on fishing trips often and thought I would try Sea Legs but they made it very clear this is not a professional business and everyone should stay far away from them.

Cptn Ken will go out of his way to show you a good time and to make sure you catch a good fish, I have gone fishing on several occasions and it is always being a good experience. His wife is very attentive and will take care of you. Bait is free along with the ice. Rods, beer, sodas are available at a very good price.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS. I called ahead to arrange our trip out and was told no worries, that they had plenty of room and didn't accept payments ahead of time. I called again at 7pm the night before and again was told, just show up, the boat leaves at 8am.

We got up at 6:30 am on a vacation day to go fishing, spent $35 in cab fare to get there only to be told upon arriving that the boat had been rented out for the full day and that I should have called first. Really??? The first 2 calls I made were not sufficient? To make matters worse, the snarky booth worker waited until after our cab had dropped us off in the middle of nowhere to say you might want to call him back; you can't go fishing with us today.
