Kayak Shed

Kayak Shed sets the bar for customer care. I contacted them today (on a Sat) because my order was shown on Amazon as “delivered” on Friday and I hadn’t received it. I exchanged emails with Kate & Jake who told me not to worry, that they would reship Monday. They were almost too nice and too apologetic about it. Turns out my order was delivered Saturday afternoon but I ordered the wrong size. This is the reply I received emailing them to let them know I received the order but was too fat to fit into the apparel.



“Hey Bruce,

Don't worry about dieting! We will send you a pair of NRS Men's Endurance Pants in XXL along with a return label for the pants you have now. They will be the 2016 model instead of the 2015 model, but we won't charge you anything additional.

Sorry for the sizing confusion on the website!

Now this is simply unheard of. That’s why I immediately drafted this review…to ease my conscience.

Worst site ever. Sold me a Kayak on sale, promised three day delivery. Never emailed, called or anything to state they really did not have that model. They continued to sell it at the sales prices for a week after online, time in which I could have bought this from another site. Send me an email after I email them first, called my by another name and said sorry, someone else got my kayak and they have no more. Find someone else who has better customer service and an online site you can log into....
