MOST UNHELPFUL and LEAST LIKELY to KEEP my BUSINESS



First of all these guys are the priciest in the area.



I have purchased some parts from them in the past, my brother even has purchased a salvaged vehicle from them.





So today I call and ask if i can use a 4.2 engine model type A in a 4.2 model type B location.





I get this d^ckHe@d type answer. " I am not a tech, I just sell parts. "



you know, i get the liability thing.. but really...? why not just say.. hey.. I dont know.. but here is what i know...



its on you.. i am not really an engineer. or.. We do it .. or WE never do that... we only use the exact engine model for the VIN supplied.



anyway.. LONG story short: PEOPLE aught to know how they treat their customers.







Not returning there for parts/ service.

i give this business 4 stars. i would give them 5 if they learned thier pricing better. if you want a battery, by all means visit don's as hes cheap(25 bucks) and the guys are pretty friendly. i will say however that i have called them on the phone asking that IF they had x,y,z part for my vehicle in the yard how much would it be and was quoted much higher than it would be to buy the same part brand new with a decent warranty. salvage yards need to realize that they are USED PARTS ESTABLISHMENTS and why would you pay 100 bucks for a 20 plus year part when you can buy it new for 80 with a lifetime warranty? if they expect to "reduce,reuse and recycle" jacking up prices is a surefire way to scare business off. PLEASE CALL AUTO PARTS STORES AS WELL AS DEALERSHIPS FOR NEW PRICING AND SET YOUR PRICES AT AROUND 25% OF WHAT IT WOULD BE NEW(ie: DEALERSHIP quotes 90 bucks brand new OEM part than the price of part at salvage yard with any sense of business would quote 20 bucks maybee 30 bc they gotta pull it)



other than high pricing i would recommend this business.
