Overall

I have moved in less than 2 months ago and I regret the decision. This is by far the worst I have ever seen in maintenance, management, and quality. For the price of $1535.00 or more you too can experience this for yourself.

The management will lie through their teeth and not follow through on one single thing.

There were issues that they knew about with the apartment before I moved in and they did not fix them, they waited until I had to submit 3-4 request before they fixed it. There have been roof leaks on a newly done roof, the management supervisor walked the apartment and even stated the apartment was not move in ready but they will still let you move in. parking is horrible and the parking they promise you will not be available for months at best. To get any action out of Finger Properties you have to actually take pictures of the deficiencies’ and email the pictures to the CEO's office downtown then threaten to send it to the city.

Move somewhere else it is not worth it and you will pay more for the same treatment and quality as everywhere else-save your money and go somewhere else.

Overall
Luxury? Huh?

Luxurious? Since when are bugs and spiders luxurious? I have never seen so many creepy crawlers in an apartment. Try laying down to go to sleep at night after you killed 3 hairyspiders in your bedroom that evening. The roly polys also never stop--but at least they don't bite. At the end of the day, there's nothing the management can do about it. The complex is nestled amongst a ton of pines and vegetation. It looks cool, but the Bavarian Alps it is not. Allthevegetation draws mosquitos, flies, and like I said, SPIDERS. If they don't bother you in general, then you should be ok.

When you are shown the apartment, the agent is going to tell you how useful the trees are for saving you money on your Air Conditioning.I suppose theshade did help a smidge, butwhat remained problematic was that my AC regularly didn't work. In the time I lived there, I called on at least 6 occasions for them to come out and fix my AC. It was regularly out of coolant. Another issue was the fact that the air conditioner was not big enough for an 800 square foot apartment so the vents barely spat out any cold air at all. AIR CONDITIONING IN HOUSTON IS MORE ESSENTIAL THAN FOOD AND WATER. Needlesstosay, inspring and summeritwas seriously uncomfortable.

Amenities? The gate is beneficial, I suppose, for keeping out the dumbest criminals but beyond that everybody gets in. The appliances in my apartment were average. I had a nice big refrigerator, but the microwave was a tiny junker that college kids put in their dorm rooms. It took three trips for me to convince Maintenance that my dryer didn't heat. Parking could be a bit of a challenge, but was manageable. Pool is ok, the tiny gym is a joke.

The good? I'd say the ladies up front are pretty helpful. They will accept all your packages which is convenient. The neighborhood is pretty nice. There is a park down the road where you can ride a bike or jog. I will say however that I found a creeping section 8 property across the way a bit unsettling. I didn't think the walls were thin. I actually thought they were thicker than usual.

Finally, when you look at the apartment the agents are going to sing "Mr. Finger's" praises. I never met Mr. Fingers. All I can say is that I think the recession hit Mr. Fingers hard and he has had to skimp on a lot of things...like AC and bug spray. Or maybe he knows they're not the "luxury apartments" he advertises and he just thinks know one will know until they move in and then it will be to late. Well, not anymore, Fingers.
