They will make you prepay for services that are never performed.

Obnoxiously expensive! I've had our drain cleaned out a few times over the past 7 years, and the charge from other plumbers as always been about the same amount. I called Village Plumber this time, after someone told me there were good. Our kitchen sink was backing up, and there is an easily accessible clean-out. Village Plumber charged more than twice what any other plumber has ever charged. The entire job took less than 20 minutes, which would equate to an hourly charge of over $750/hour. I highly recommend you find another plumber, and never hire Village Plumber unless you enjoy being massively over charged.

I called this company after they were referred in a homeowner referral book. They said there would be a $59 fee that would be applied to my bill if I agreed to the estimate. Repairman arrived and said I need a valve on my refrigerator. The estimate was $351 . I ask how much the part was, he said he had to call supervisor. Came back in and told me it was $91. I ask what was hr. labor charge, didn't know. He went back out to call again and I called office to ask hr. labor charge, was told supervisor would call me back. Repair man came back in and gave me a "discount" price of $250. He left to get part. Returned and was complete in 10 minutes. I figure with the 20 min to find out what was wrong, an hour to go get part, 10 min to install, labor was $105 an hour, indeed a bargain from the first estimate if $173 an hour. Do not trust this company.

Came to pass a snake for a clogged washer drain in a rental property. He charged me $291.66 for a minor work.
Then, he warned the tenants that the water heater was in a dangerous condition, needing immediate replacement (for $1,700). The tenants were in panic constantly calling me. When I called the company, I was told that "by law" they were supposed to check the water heater even if the customer does not request it. They were not able to show me the law. When I asked what was the dangeorus condition, they could not answer. I hired another licensed plumber who examined the water heater and reassured us that there was absolutely no problem.
It is obvious that the Village plumbing technician had a wrong intention. Apart from overcharging me for drain cleaning, he did not get what he intended. However, he caused inconvenience and unnecessary tension on our family and on our tenants with a newborn.
I was misguided with the previous positive feedbacks and I feel they are form paid reviewers.

Recently Village Plumbing did a major repair on the drainage of our master bathroom which required a city inspection upon completion. I wanted to pass on to you that when the inspector came yesterday and looked at the ticket, he immediately said that jobs done by Village never have a problem with inspections because they are done so competently. He said you pay a little more, but you can be assured the job is done correctly. I told him I concurred and that was exactly why we have used village plumbing for years.

Hi Monica, Happy Easter! I called Village Plumbing this morning and the person who answered was very nice. Then they got somebody over to our house by 9:30! The man was extremely courteous, professional, efficient, and willing to explain our problem and what he was going to do to fix it. His name is Chris Welkey. He did a great job and we are so grateful. I have already told my mother and my sister to call Village Plumbing the next time they need a plumber. Thank you

I had an AC problem right before I was scheduled to have a pretty big family party at my house. I called Village Plumbing and Tony came to my house. He worked very hard to get the problem fixed, when he could not get the parts in right away he was able to temporarily fix the problem so that I could have AC in time for my gathering. I am grateful for his service and I will call on them every time I need to in the future.

After interviewing 3 other companies, we were baffled at the dishonesty and creepiness factor exhibited by the service technicians (not to mention outrageous estimates!). David, from Village Plumbing was prompt, courteous, and went right to work. He diagnosed the problem and took care of it. We will use Village Plumbing for any future maintenance we require. I would definitely recommend you to someone else. Many thanks, Village Plumbing and thanks, David!

The technician was great, he took the time to explain to me what the problem was and didn't mind going over it again until I really understood. Highly recommended in my book!

the technician was great he took the time to explain to me what the problem was and didn't mind going over it again until i really understood. I Would recommend Village Plumbing to others. It seems like customer service is a lost art these days. It still surprises me that companies don't take customer service seriously. It was so refreshing to have a great customer service experience...no matter how bad my plumbing issues are.
