        Family Owned and Operated Since 1972 The 1970s were a time of major development for Livingston County in Michigan. In fact, the period of 1970 to 1980 saw the largest increase in population in history for Livingston County, with 41,322 residents making their homes there. Terry and Carol Shermoe saw an immediate need for water conditioning services for all of these new homes. Over 40 years later, their son Bryant Shermoe continues in the family business with Brighton-Howell Soft Water Co., servicing any and all residential water conditioning needs in Livingston County.

        We have been really happy with Brighton & Howell Soft Water Co.! They installed a water softener in our home two years ago and then recently installed an iron filter as well. Both times Bryant did the installations and he is very professional and thorough. We highly recommend B&H Soft Water Co. and Bryant!
