Built on 160 acres with 30 acres of natural wetlands, Hunters Ridge Golf Course is situated on part of the Miesle family’s centennial farm. Hunters Ridge Golf Course is located just north of Howell, Michigan, convenient to Brighton, Flint, Lansing, Ann Arbor and the Detroit Metro area. The course itself was carefully designed by master golf course architect Jerry Matthews whose work also includes “The Grand” and “Woods” courses for the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island, “The Fortress” in Frankenmuth, and “The Torch” for A-Ga-Ming Golf Resort. “Why do I play golf at Hunters Ridge? They have the best grass around. It’s just a great playing surface. The course is challenging and brings out the best in my game.
