I am a 62 year old insulin-dependent diabetic with glaucoma and my eye care diagnoses and treatment are extremely important to me... I visit the Atascocita location of Berkeley Eye because Dr. Shrum exceeds my expectations for a true medical professional. Whether it's eye exams, lenses, tracking my cataract condition, glaucoma exams and treatment, visual field tests, Dr. Shrum is wonderful! Personable, friendly, etremely knowledgeable, and I never feel "rushed" in his office. He is my guy!!

Personnel very helpful and friendly. Would not think of going anywhere else. When I had an emergency,with my eye, I was seen right a way.

Found the staff to be quite helpful in choosing a pair of glasses. Exam was quick, but thorough. Even answered honestly when asked about need for contact lenses.

Three and a half years ago I had cataracts removed and had implants. A great experience, as I do not have to wear glasses and can read and see perfect. No down time and I go back yearly for a checkup. I am definitely pleased and would recommend Dr. Shrum and his friendly staff for efficient and caring services.

Went in for a routine eye exam. I was very pleased to see Theresa was there. Everyone was extremely helpful and nice. Dr. Hilton was very comforting and spoke to you like a friend and not just another customer. This is the place to go!!

Had to have a piece on metal removed from my corneal. In an emergency situation Dr. Shrum and team were able to fit me in and get the procedure done in a timely and professional manner.
