My 1st two experiences weren't that bad, but it only takes once for you to realize your money isn't appreciated. We ordered our usual Maxima margarita and it came out in smaller, not the norm glass. Not only that it tasted like syrup. The excuse was they ran out of the larger glasses, but as soon as our waiter said it, out comes one for another table. Needless to say we sent it back to have it come right back out in the normal glass. Problem is they poured from one glass to the other but didn't address the fact it didn't taste good. Our waiter apologized, but when your paying $15 for a drink you should definitely feel its worth and let you know if you won't be receiving what's advertised. Next time we'll make our own at home!

I have been twice now and love the food! The rice and refried beans have a unique flavor, moving them a notch above others in my opinion. Chicken and cheese enchiladas are awesome! I couldn't have asked for better service.

The food was acceptable but the service was horrific. Our waitress wasn't familiar with the menu--or Mexican food, for that matter. When there was a discrepancy with our bill, instead of just bringing a menu like I asked, the manager insisted on reiterating his point over and over; despite me accepting his first answer. The manager even went so far as to say, "Otherwise we're just giving the goods away" and "I am sorry you didn't read it correctly." Yeoooow.
The menu was also very limited. No a la carte items and asking for a bean burrito was like asking the chef to run to the store and buy all new ingredients. Hmmmm.

My boyfriend and I were very excited to try The Loco Lime when it recently opened in the shopping center at the corner of Eastfield & Prosperity, right down the road from where we live. We were EXTREMELY disappointed.
You all know that the best part of starting any Mexican or "Mexican Inspired" meal is the complimentary salsa and chips; well their salsa was beyond terrible, it had absolutely NO flavor whatsoever and was pasty. We told our server about it and he said he would tell "them" but that was the extent of it.
We also ordered the "Loco Rita" from the bar and all you could taste was sour mix; my drink was not potable, it actually looked and tasted worse than my boyfriend's which is odd because they should have been made at the same time from the same thing...his was not enjoyable but mine was undrinkable.
When our food came it was ok, we both got chicken chimichangas and were able to eat them; although finding any actual chicken among the rice and beans was nearly impossible.
While we were eating the manager happened by and asked how our meals were and we were honest with him, this was the first he was hearing about any of it. He made excuses for the salsa, "maybe the big bowl in the back needed to be stirred?" and for the drinks, "we make our own sour mix"; at no point did he offer to bring us "stirred" salsa and fresh chips, nor did he offer to take the drinks off our check or re-do our drinks. He tried to tell me that the salsa isn't supposed to be "spicy" and I'm the only one that's complained and what did I "want" it to taste like..?...I said, tomatoes would be a good start.
Keep in mind that this is a very newly opened restaurant and he didn't even offer us any kind of incentive to try them again to give them another shot!?! We go out for Mexican once a week and will drive much further to do so; we will NEVER go back to Loco Lime, the manager really blew this one. I've also told my friends, my two college-age daughters and their friends and my neighbors about our experience and they aren't even going to bother checking Loco Lime out; there are too many good Mexican or "Mexican Inspired" places out there that are MUCH better and have MUCH better management. Tonight we're going to Fiesta Maya, they have the BEST salsa and chimis ever! :)
...by the way, we didn't stiff the server, he was working hard and deserved his tip, plus he has to deal with that manager!
I have just read your review and am very disappointed in our lack of service. We pride ourselves on great customer service and delicious food. It certainly sounds like did not meet any of your expectations. Please contact me personally at your convenience and I will do my absolute best to make you a regular guest at our establishment.
