Comfort Air Control HVAC

They don't know what they are doing and will just try to fill refrigerant and call it a day. This was a home warranty service call and I was told the leak was not covered, however, my home warranty company says it is. Unfortunately they got me last year. I paid for refrigerant, and one year later it's completely gone. In addition, instead of doing their job and sending my home warranty company a diagnostic, they simply send status complete. I feel like I was conned out of $380.00 for coolant and they tried to do it to me again this year. Do not ever call this company.

My home warranty company dispatched Comfort Air Control to fix my gas furnace. I called the warranty company on Sunday afternoon. Sunday evening Comfort Aor Control called to schedule a next day appointment. Technician named Roman arrived within the specified timeframe...even called 10 min prior to arrival. Listened to my problem, diagnosed the problem, explained it to me and even made the repair...all in less than 1.5 hours. He made sure everything was operational and waited while I tested it myself. He was AWESOME. He also recommended needed cleaning/maintenance of my furnace. I would definitely recommend Roman!

Thursday evening, our downstairs ceiling and wall started leaking water. We called a claim into our home warranty company, and on Saturday a plumber came out and determined that the water was coming from our upstairs central air unit. He had the home warranty company dispatch an HVAC company.

Monday, Comfort sends out a repairman who says he can’t find anything wrong (we had turned the air off to prevent any more damage) and determines that “there must have been a clogged drain that cleared itself,” which I questioned because it really sounds like a cop-out, but he insisted that “this happens sometimes”. 🙄 Ran the air after he left and, surprise - it’s still leaking. Called the company, they said they’d send the tech back out tomorrow, but keep the air running (and keep damaging our house 👍🏻).

Tuesday morning he comes out, can’t find what’s wrong, and blames our problem on a dirty coil, and says he has to consult his manager because the acid cleaner he wants to use might damage the coil and cause other issues. He leaves, saying I can still run the air if I want (I don’t want to. We have extensive damage to ceiling and walls. 😡). Pete calls Tuesday night looking for an update and gets nothing. We cancel our much needed vacation because we can’t go anywhere with this happening.

This morning, we call asking what the game plan is. The guy on the phone starts SCREAMING at us, saying he’s tired of us, they aren’t coming, they are done. And HANGS UP on us. We literally didn’t even have a chance to get a word in edge-wise. Like, what?! 😲 Needless to say, we have had to spend all day dealing with our home warranty company to make sure this unprofessional, incompetent company does not get a cent of our service fee and that someone else gets sent out who might be willing to do a little work to find the source of the leak.

Comfort Air Control is an incompetent company that screams at customers and hangs up on them rather than working to find and repair HVAC issues.

This co is a comolete rip off,I was without heat for 6 days ,then theu charged me $450.00 dollars to cut and regluw a pvc pipe,,,beware do not use this co!!!!!!!

The absolute worst. Completely incompetent caused a leak and destroyed my ceiling, and refused to correct. STAY AWAY!!!!

Service technician was on time and clean. Fixed the problem promptly.

Simon was helpful, knowledgeable, and flexible. He is clearly dedicated to ensuring his customers are satisfied and their systems are safe and efficient.

I would highly recommend them as being honest, prompt and competent. 5 stars.
