Sterling Optical - Huntington Station

The doctor did a very thorough exam and explained everything. He was very professional and knowledgeable. Couldn't ask for more in a doctor. The woman who helped me with my frames was wonderful. She was patient and showed my a variety of options. This is an A-1 place and I certainly will be back.

I loved the MD. He was professional, nice and explained everything. The office staff is unfriendly, unhelpful, and uninformed.They treat you like you are bothering them. They told me the insurance company would not allow me to just take 3 boxes of contacts, (the insurance allows $130.00 toward glasses or contacts) I would have to take a full years supply and pay an additional $230.00 for my contacts. Went with the glasses and then they charged me a $20.00 co pay to pick out my own glasses. Called the insurance company to see if any of this was true and the insurance company said I would have been allowed to get just the three boxes of contacts and had no idea why there was a copay for the glasses. Would NOT return there again. Find another place or a differen't sterling optical.
