Yes. The COVID-19 vaccines have been authorized and approved for use by the FDA, medical professionals and a New York State independent advisory task force. While there may be some minor side effects, they are signs that the body’s immune response and the vaccine are both working. The vaccine is also safe for people with underlying health conditions. You are more likely to become ill without the vaccine. The Pfizer vaccine is now approved for children 12 and up and may be approved for 5 and up soon. After college, I worked at Georgetown University Hospital on a Lung Cancer Research Team. I spent a lot of time shadowing all different specialties at the hospital. I met a podiatrist and was drawn to the balance of primary care, procedural medicine, and surgery. The expanded Imaging department in the business park features cutting-edge technology with the addition of MRI and PET scan machines. The new campus has also welcomed the opening of the Elite Medical Spa and Wellness Institute, which offers services for facial and body aesthetics overseen by a Slocum-Dickson plastic surgeon. The new location welcomed the opening of departments over the last several months and is now fully open. A Very personable educated young man & most importantly a Great surgeon highly qualified & I would personally highly recommend him, he performed hand surgery on me and was very thorough before and after took time to meet me and explain exactly what he intended on doing and he followed through with just that & even after the surgery he took time to meet with me again to go over the progress I was making in recovery and any concerns he had. I wholeheartedly trust this guy and would go as far as to say I would trust my own child in his hands!
