Place is a great place to go to. The people here are much friendlier than some of the drugstores I've been to. :)

STAY AWAY FROM THIS DISCRACE!!!

I called this pharmacy to find out how much my wife's Rx would cost and was told that they do not give out prices over the phone. When I asked why, I was told that they just don't do that. I took my wife's Rx in to find out how much it would cost to have it filled and was told $1,200.00. Since this price is 16X more than what Walgreens charges I asked why it cost this much. I was told that it is a narcotic and that I would have to fill 5 other non-narcotic Rx's in order to fill this one. I was also told that the doctor, my wife, and the pharmacy must all be located within 20 miles of each other. She (name not given) went on to tell me that this is state law. So I went online to find out if this is the law. It is not state, federal, or local law. I was lied to and misled by this individual, and will file a complaint against Kenneth Heimann, and B.W. Rexall. It sounds like the pharmacist/owner is a drug dealer taking advantage of individuals that are disabled. I write this review only as a public service so others will not fall prey to this type of discrimination against people with health problems that include pain, and suffering. They are so rude they laugh in your face about your disabillities and pain!

I made the mistake of bringing three prescriptions to be filled here and I was lied to by the woman behind the counter and the manager! I was who told by the woman that my health insurance wouldn't pay for my medications, and then was given the impression that because they filled the prescriptions I couldn't get the the original prescriptions back. Sick and desperate I shelled out $115 for an inhaler and antibiotics! After this I called my insurance provider to find out why they had refused to cover them. They HADN'T refused! B & W Rexall had LIED to me! The insurance customer service agent then called the pharmacist to see if he would refund the amount I paid so that they could cover it and he flatly refused. In fact, he lied to them saying that I didn't give them the right identification (This after my driver's license and insurance card were photocopied by them!!) and telling them that he had tried to contact my insurance company but couldn't! The customer service rep. even said she didn't believe him because there is always someone on the phone until they close. I went back inside the store to talk to the manager. I believe he was Ken Heimann who is listed online as the pharmacist and owner of the Rexall.

I tried to work it out with him to which he responded, "there's nothing I can do." I tried to return the unopened bag with the medications but he hid behind Florida law and said I couldn't. He was extremely rude, arrogant and hateful. He double-talked to me telling me that I needed, "the new card," again another lie which he also tried with ins. co. Then after three people lined up behind me he told me to get behind them so he could help the, "customers." I told him that I would report his actions and he defiantly and happily told me to, "go ahead." It is clear that this is an unfair business practice and that this guy has some experience in doing. I recommend NOT going to B & W Rexall in Inverness for anything or eating at their restaurant. Definitely seek out a chain store to get your prescriptionss filled!

The pharmacy is the absolute w...

The pharmacy is the absolute worst. They over-charge to the point of ridiculous. I can't believe they can actually get away with what they try to charge me in cash in addition to my insurance. Someone told me, so a rumor, that they were in some kind of trouble. I truly believe that if it's not true it SHOULD be, robbery!!!!! i put a star only because you have to by the way.
