this place is horrible. i bought an engine for a van from these guys. i repair fleet vehicles for a living, so getting the part in a timely fashion was important. the owner, who is very hard to actually get on the phone, assured me he would have me a quality engine ASAP. the ASAP part was almost right, but the quality part was not right. upon install, after adding all fluids to the engine, it promptly threw a rod through the side of the engine without even having run for 10 seconds.



now, the owner is even MORE difficult to get a hold of. when i did, he assured me *I* was doing something wrong, and that he "didn't sell bad parts". he sent his delivery truck out and picked the engine up so he could assess the damage, i guess. this didn't change anything as i still had to play phone tag with him for weeks before he says he's going to sue me because i put a stop payment on his check. (at least i got his attention).



do not do business with these clowns, it's just not worth it with so many other yards to choose from.

Purchased a passenger door for an impala. Not only was it in Great condition but the price was significantly lower then the rest of the part stores I called. Keep up the great work and thanks again!

Bought a transmission for Ford F-150 last week. My mechanic said that it was in really good condition and now my truck drives great! I would recommend Precise to all my friends. They were very helpful and knew exactly what I wanted.

I bought an engine for my Dodge Durango about 6-8 months ago from them. The engine runs great and had low miles compared to the other used auto part shops that we checked out. Also it was $150.00 cheaper! Even though it was 45 minutes to drive there it was WORTH IT to save that kind of money and I got a great engine.

I purchased a rear axle assembly from Precise Auto. I called ahead of time and paid over the phone because I was driving a long distance to get the part and I didn't want someone else to buy it before I got there. The inventory listed the axle in great condition. When I got there they had it ready for me, but I was a little disappointed in the condition. Though it was in better shape than the axle I was replacing there was still a fair amount of rust. And some of the lines like the differential breather, ABS line and brake cable had been cut. The reason I was buying a whole new axle was so I could remove my old one and drop in the newer one. I didn't want to have to remove parts from the old one, but it appears that is what I'll have to do. Not great condition by any means.
