This place is a ripoff!!! I went to class & Mr. Amos was on the phone the majority of the calling the students who were suppose to be there & weren't. He read off a paper (badly) the whole time & this was him "teaching." You aren't given the book for the class until the class is over (how dumb is that?!) because this is the ploy to keep you coming and paying so you can "receive the book you need to past the test," says Mr. Amos. After talking to several former students of the program (that did not pass the certification exam first go 'round) I was told that the class was really no help & that if you purchased the book and studied on your own (which they did & eventually passed the exam) that you could pass the exam and get certified. They also said that he throughout the program worksheets would come from the internet or book.

The book can be found on Amazon for $22. (Pharmacy Technician Exam by LearningExpress Editors) He makes it seem like the book is top secret & only he can get it!

The class in which Mr. Amos teaches is unorganized, slow, amd a waste of money!!! Besides, you could work at a pharmacy and they will train you and pay for you to take the exam WHILE you are making money! This class is a JOKE! Save your time, money & gas.

Oh! & here's the best part. After I called and told him I wouldn't be attending class, he desperately tried several lame attempts into getting me to come to class(because my payment was due). All his arguments were poor & unconvincing (as was his teaching). Also I would like to add that this was after 6 p.m., when class should have been in session.

He then proceeded to tell my former classmates that I withdrew because of "family problems" & that I had "a lot going on," all of which were A FLAT OUT LIE! Even if that was true what business did he have telling it to the class? He could've just not said anything about me at all, but to go out of his way to LIE speaks VOLUMES about his character. How can anybody TRUST to learn from someone who blatantly lies???

I am currently enrolled in the program and its going great I am scheduled to start my externship soon and take my national exam next month I highly recommend this program please call them 601-502-4427

It's a scam . Don't go there and waste your time and your money . They don't teach you anything . And they will rush you to pay the fee, don't listen. You can take the class for free online and pay only $90 for the test. So you get your license for less than $100 , rather than wasteing $450 for nothing. Trust me I'm writing this from experience.

I have to admit after reading two of these comments I was a little apprehensive about joining the program but I am glad I don't believe everything I hear. I just completed the program Wed night and I can't see how any of the 14 of us who were in my class could have anything negative to say I am 32 years old and Mr. Amos is the best college professor I have had he really knows the material he was always on time he tutored us one on one after class when we needed it we have all the resources we need to study for our national exams and I really felt that he cared about me and my life by the way he went out of his way to help us he is a very special man. There were two out of 14 people complained in our class but they were always absent and never understood anything so I tell you this is not a waste of money or time as a matter of fact I am telling everyone about Mr. Amos and to sign up for the program even after we completed the class he told us if we need any additional help just call him .

I attended the class as well and now I work at Rite Aid and earn 13 dollars per hour Mr Amos is a very dedicated professor who is very intelligent when we completed the class he gave us a time and date to report to class to get out test info and only three people showed up and he said that the first thing the people who didn't show up would do was go post something negative on the internet that's why I am here telling my success story because some of us passed and are working now I would highly recommend this program if you are dedicated and motivated

I took attended this program two years ago and I passed the exam on my first attempt and I currently work at Fred's there were two other women who took the class with me who also passed one works at Walgreens on McDowell Rd and the other works at UMC also I was referred by a lady who works at CVS who took the class and also passed the test Mr Amos was one of the if not the best instructors I have ever had he really knows the material well and he had taught many places before just because it didn't work out for some that doesn't include all of us because know one complained in class and I would highly recommend this program we love you Mr Amos take care don't let these haters bother you

This class is a rip off after payin for the class in 3 payments and completing the class I could not get in touch with him to take the test which is $129 and "suppose" to included with the tution fee of $600 I called and called and sent several text messages that was 4 months ago and still no test and no answewr but I will get my day in court!!
