Bremer Brace of Florida, founded by Wilmore Bremer, is one of the leading manufacturers of orthotic and prosthetic products. In 1968, Wilmore Bremer's son, Ross Bremer, purchased the company. Ross Bremer, a founding member of Bremer Medical, is one of the leading authorities on cervical fracture treatment using Halo systems. Bremer Brace now has more than 15 employees and 4 offices, which serve Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia. With a 4,000-square-foot manufacturing facility, the company has been certified by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prostheticsis. Bremer Laboratories, a subsidiary of Bremer Brace, is also used for research and development of orthotic and prosthetic devices. The company is headquartered in Jacksonville, Fla.
