        Meg Prodehl lives and paints in Jacksonville Beach, FL. She was born in Carrollton, TX, grew up with 5 siblings and lived all around the country. She spent most of her young adult years in Buford, GA. When asked where she's from, her moxie response is, "America"! She has always loved to paint and draw from when she was in grade school. She is mostly self taught with a few technique courses here and there in watercolor back in 2002. In 2004 she had the privilege of meeting Don Sawyer, (a true artist and mentor to her) and he introduced her the world of acrylic paint on a wood surface and never looked back!

        Overall

        I recently redecorated my home in Ponte Vedra and came across Meg’s work at Mermaids Grotto. I loved the beachy look and absolutely LOVE the wine rack I purchased from her. This functional piece of art brings a colorful, creative, homegrown touch to my home.
