Dental Examination
We treat our patients like family and you can look forward to a small town atmosphere with clinical-level results. Scheduling routine cleanings and checking your child’s teeth and gums for any signs of cavities or gum disease are critical at every age. Dr. Katzoff can perform a comprehensive exam and make sure your child’s teeth and gums are in optimal condition on every visit.

Teeth Cleaning
Since periodontal disease is a progressive disease, it’s essential that we treat the infection as early as possible. We want to do everything we can to reduce the risk of tooth loss so an intervention with scaling and root planing or laser gum disease treatment may be the best option for you. We will put you on a periodontal maintenance plan after the initial treatment so you maintain results. We encourage all patients to take steps to prevent gum disease, including brushing and flossing every day, and calling us if they notice any symptoms or signs of gum disease. Neglecting treatment or even skipping dental cleanings and visits can put you at a high risk of losing your teeth and developing other oral health problems.

Veneers
If your teeth are damaged and need to be rebuilt or restored, a crown, bridge or veneers may be your best treatment option. Unlike conventional restorations, with our modern technology you do not have to wear temporaries or wait weeks for results. Dr. Norman Katzoff offers single-visit crowns, bridges and veneers for patients looking for a fast, quality tooth restoration option.
Crowns
When the pulp inside the tooth becomes inflamed or infected, we need to take steps to clear the infection. Inflammation can occur because of deep decay, faulty crowns, cracked or chipped teeth, or even frequent dental procedures.
Bridges
Fractured or damaged teeth can take away from the quality of your smile. If the integrity of your teeth is compromised for any reason, Dr. Norman Katzoff may recommend tooth restorations with a custom crown or dental bridge. Crowns and dental bridges restore proper functioning of the smile and can reduce the risk of other functional problems later. We can resolve several oral health concerns with a customized treatment plan, and with help from our same-day CEREC machine.

Root Canal Treatment
If the inside of the tooth has become infected and you experience pain or sensitivity, we may suggest a root canal. Dr. Norman Katzoff has been in practice for more than 30 years and has performed hundreds of root canals with a high success rate. Even though you may be afraid of pain or discomfort, you can rest assured that root canal therapy is a relatively painless procedure and can actually alleviate pain. It is a necessary treatment in many cases and can help save your natural tooth. For those with high levels of anxiety, we offer sedation dentistry and local anesthesia.

Dentures
If you are tired of dealing with the frustrations of missing teeth or struggle with removable dentures, implant supported dentures may be your modern solution to full-arch tooth loss. Many patients with dentures turn to Dr. Norman Katzoff for implant supported dentures because they provide a more comfortable and stable fit. Instead of having dentures rest on the gums, these dentures are attached to a set of implants so they do not move or slip. For many patients, making the switch provides a boost of self-confidence. Since the implants are fused to the jaw bone, there is no risk of jawbone degeneration — a common problem among patients who lose their teeth.
