TVCCA is a private, non-profit Community Action Agency, incorporated in 1965. We are well recognized as a community leader – and partner – in advocating for and meeting the needs of the region’s economically and otherwise disadvantaged citizens.

Energy Assistance Find out if you qualify for help with paying your home energy and heating bills. TVCCA operates multiple childhood development programs to ensure the education and well being of children from birth through 5 years old. Whether you are a job seeker, underemployed, or switching careers, we can help you with your job search and career development Food & Nutrition We’re committed to improving the health of our community by providing proper nutrition for children to grow, mothers to remain healthy, and seniors to age in place at home.. TVCCA provides seniors aid with food options, employment and volunteer opportunities as well as providing support and care services. Seniors can also actively participate in community services that benefit school-age children and their families. TVCCA works with many partners throughout Eastern Connecticut to help end homelessness and provide affordable housing.
