B K Plumbing is quick, friendly, and they get the job done right. We have called them out at least three times for everything from a burst pipe to a broken water heater, each one an "emergency" call. Each time they have come out sooner than expected, with the right parts, and skillfully fixed the problem then and there.

Service in Kannapolis on 5/13/08 - 2 hours of labor, 6 parts totalling at most $30.00, a hole 24" long and maybe 8" deep => a bill of $478 !! You have to be kidding me! $478- $30 for parts = $448 / 2 hours = $224 per hour labor rate!!! My wife paid the bill. I had 2 other plumbing companies give an estimate after the fact and reviewed the exact parts list .....$150 to $175. Quite a stretch from $478. When I called Brad to discuss the obvious error in the bill. He simply said "that's the price". Good service from their technician, but flat out theft on their billing.



I'm certain there had to be a math mistake on the bill - but no effort to correct it at all.



These are the cold hard facts - $478 for 2 hours of single man work (and only $30 of parts). I believe this says it all. I think consumers should know.
