Ixtapa Fine Mexican Cuisine

The Good- The restaurant had friendly, clean service and was very presentable.

- The rice was the most authentic I have tasted.



The bad-

-Expect to pay about $16 per plate which is not bad but you don't get much for what you pay for

- We ordered 4 different plates and the food was a little bland.

- The beans did not taste authentic, more like out of a can.

- You don't get much meat in your plates, we all left hungry.

- The food was not eye appealing at all, like mush.



I had high hopes for this place from the reviews but I am wondering if the reviews written before had been written by friends of the owners.

I wish this place well but would not visit this place again.

A great authentic Mexican restaurant. It is a small place, with personal service. The owner often stops by to make sure you are satisfied, and once created a dish especially for my taste.
