Greers Chapel Baptist Church

This church has been a backdrop for my family my entire life! My grandparents joined when they first moved from Smyrna to Kennesaw sometime around the 1970's and it eventually became the church home to my parents too, so whether it was church with my family, a wedding, a funeral, a homecoming service or even just gathering for a meal and fellowship together in the hall, Greers Chapel has always been there. It's a lovely, Christ centered church with a small-town feel, right smack in the heart of Towne Center Mall district and it fills me with such a warm feeling every time I get to go back there. I'm not as local anymore, but I still love to visit because the congregation is so warm and loving, they always feel like part of the family to me. The Pastor and his wife (Bobbi & Terri) are Christ servants who love and check on everyone. Big churches are not for everyone, and I have to say if you are looking for a church home where you can really get connected with the church community, give Greers Chapel a month.
