Primary Care
Western Missouri Medical Center works with other partners to bring various specialty services, including cardiology, to our community. Patients interested in seeing a cardiologist must first be referred by their primary care provider. If you do not have a primary care provider, find a local physician through WMMC’s Provider Finder.
Sleep Disorders
A parent may not think anything is wrong if you get a call from your child’s teacher that your child has fallen asleep in class or has attention issues. But if the behavior is reoccurring, looking deeper into your child’s sleep may be the answer. Sleep disorders in children can have symptoms such as snoring, learning or behavioral disorders, attention problems, daytime sleepiness, or even regular sweating at night. A sleep disorder can cause children to become sick easier, struggle in school, and cause unwanted behaviors from irritability.
