I have been in professional psychological practice since 1979, been narried, raised two children and shared in raising three stepchildren, so I have many years of personal and professional experience on which to draw. However, I am always learning and growing, and enjoy sharing the journey of self-discovery with my patients/clients. I tailor my psychological treatment with individuals (adults, children and adolescents), couples, and families to each person's unique situation. I utilize a variety of different treatment approaches depending on the problems presented, ranging from cognitive-behavioral, insight, family systems, to supportive reality therapy.

Psychological treatment for adults, teens, and children for a wide variety of problems; marriage and couple counseling and family therapy. Special treamtent modalities include cognitive-behavioral therapy, EMDR--eye movement desensitization and reprocessing, hypnosis, mindfulness and stress management training, relaxation and guided imagery visualization exercises, couple communication work, dream interpretation, Gestalt techniques, art therapy and play therapy for young children.
