Dr. Harold Winston ( retired ) opened the practice, which is now owned and operated by his sons, licensed optometrists Dr. Jerry M. Winston and Dr. Barry A. Winston. Winston Eye & Vision Center is a complete on-site facility offering examinations using the latest diagnostic equipment that test for diabetes, glaucoma and other eye diseases. Our on-site lab allows us to complete and deliver your glasses quickly at a low price. Our unique contact lens program gives our patients the ability to pay an annual fee that includes a complete eye examination, the lens fitting process and prescription. This thorough evaluation will determine which type lenses are best for you. The fitting process permits a one week trial period to insure comfort with your lenses before you purchase them. Drs. Winston and Winston also provide primary care guidance on surgical alternatives such as refractive surgery, radial keratotomy, and LASIK procedures. We provide a free evaluation for current patients to determine which procedure is best for each patient, and work closely with eye surgeons to see that our patients are well-informed and have the best qualified surgeon for their particular needs.         Outstanding service. Personnel is courteous and wait times are very good. We are new patients here but our obsevation is they have a robust eyewear department.

        Overall

        I was very impressed with the technology and service that I received at the Winston Eye Center. My only suggestion is don't buy the Adidas half frames. The lens is poorly retained and if you loose one Addis doesn't warrant it and neither does Winston. At least the lenses in the half frame readers at Walmart don't fall out.

        Very accommodating and easy to work with your schedule. Overall, great doctors, office staff, and service focused on the patient. Also, very knowledgable about different contacts and options so your eyewear is comfortable and fits your needs.
