This man, I hesitate to call him a doctor, "treated" at a Life Help facility my adult son who is bipolar. As my son described his increasing anger, sleep problems, and psychosis, etc. Wilkaitis never once looked him in the eye; he was too busy writing out a new prescription to get him out the door in less than 5 minutes. After faithfully following the lithium dosage, my son later went to a crisis center where his lithium levels were shown to be at life-threatening, toxic levels. Wilkaitis had him taking 3,600 mg of lithium A DAY! Now, my son refuses to take any lithium at all and refuses to go back to the Life Help facility. Gee. I wonder why.
