Walmart - Vision Center

Because of my eye problems, I have to see an eye specialist several times during the year. My last visit showed my eyesight had worsened somewhat, and I needed to get new lens. Because my frames were over 10 years old (yes, I'm very careful with my glasses), I decided to get new frames, as well. After visiting several different companies and finding no frame styles I liked...nor did I like the cost..., I decided to just stop by the Wal Mart Vision Center in Kyle,Texas. Please believe me, I wasn't expecting anything out of the ordinary...just the same ole-same ole. The vision tech, Tracey, approached, asking if she could help me. Within the first ten minutes of being there, I had picked out two different frames, that were just what I wanted. The two frames were a total cost of less than any one frame I saw at the other stores I had visited. I provided Tracey the written prescription from my doctor, she took the necessary measurements for the proper making of my lens and calculated the total cost. My two pairs of glasses cost me less than the other stores wanted to charge me for only one pair of glasses. I was given an approximate date my new glasses would be available...which was a reasonable length of time, given that it was nearing Christmas. My glasses were ready for me to pick up in half the time I had been told. Not only was I surprised at the quick turnaround from ordering my glasses to actually getting them, the prescription was perfect. I would recommend Wal Mart Vision Center to anyone needing eyeglasses...or just new frames. Their selection of frames is extensive.
