Skilled Trades, I was amazed at what this place pays it welders, 10 to 12 and no benefits for 6mo's,... Really...welding is a skilled trade it takes along time to know how to do it right and the test for certifications are not easy. The fumes the heat are something to deal with also. You just cant bring someone off the street and say here weld this but you can take someone of the street and have them greet people at the door at Walmart or wash dishes at logans for the same amount of pay..Cheap pay equals cheap work so this company should do itself a favor and go to a country where they can offer their cheap pay and get exactly what they pay for! Start paying people a livable wage and start paying your skilled trades positions what they deserve and that is a lot more than 10 to 12. I'm sure if you offered upper mngt, 20 to 25k a yr with all there college and yrs of business experience they would call this an insult or a slap to the face..I would call it being FAIR!
