Dr. Hedger and his entire staff are awesome. I'm a new patient and very pleased how Dr. Hedger (and staff) took his time explaining a couple issues and making sure I understood what needed to happen. For one, wisdom teeth needed to go. The front desk was able to schedule me within a week. I have to give a shout out to Mallory R. who assisted with this procedure. She is very friendly and helped calm my nerves! I'm very pleased with my experience at Deerfoot Trails and I highly recommend this dental office.

My wife was in serious pain for 36hrs or so? So....when she hurts that bad so do I. We weren't sure what was precisely wrong (abscessed tooth was the last thing we wanted to conclude)......but that's exactly what it was! So a phone call I made at 8:10am Thursday 7-13-17 to Melissa was very pleasant and to the point. She had us in the office for a 12pm appointment on the SAME DAY! No hassle care is how I would describe this service. I would now like to stop and gratefully thank the Dentist and her staff who treated my wife. Absolutely professional and competent. So... maybe it costs a lot to get things done... but I don't mind paying a good amount for a really good experience with resolve. Thanks again, David Hughes.
p.s. Robin is resting well in bed and feeling so much better...as do I.

I felt like they had rescued me when I was desperate to get in for a lost filling and my dentist wanted to take two months to fill it. Deerfoot got me right in. However, I just went to another dentist and they showed me pictures of the fillings - yes, they talked me into two. They both were very chunky, my other past fillings don't even show. And there was bad decay that even I could see around the edges of the emergency one. Additionally I discovered they charged me almost double the going rate.

After a follow up checkout THEY scheduled after a deep cleaning, I was later billed additionally more then was claimed and what I had already paid in office after they checked with my insurance. Upon calling them they said insurance wouldn't cover the check up because it was 28 days after cleaning not the 30 days insurance contract specifies. So I'm stuck paying something that clearly they should know more about then I as far as insurance policies. My insurance is from well known Delta Dental & company that offers it through work is also huge & well known so I find it odd they've never encountered this insurance's rules. When scheduling appointment I gave open availability because I'm stay at home mom to a child who was going with me to the appointment so I took the first day the hygienist asked about. The day they screwed up by 2 days that would allow my insurance to cover. I find this & the fact that nobody knows who their actual dentist is because the one I saw for one minute was not who they listed on their website all shady. Not professional place in my opinion. When called asking about charge I was hung up on because told them they were losing 3 customers in the family. Clearly she didn't care.

Not only did they cause me a month of toothaches from the worst cavity fill ever. The office manager refused to issue a huge refund they owed me after they overcharged me twice the fee, claiming they can only do credits. Upon contacting my insurance provider who made them stick to their contract, the office manager lied and said she had never refused the refund. They will issue it sometime at least 3 months from now.

I went in to get my front tooth repaired. I had a 14 year old filling on it from a car accident. It was cracked. They insisted on working on two more teeth. I agreed since I badly needed the repair. It never felt right or like a real tooth. One of the other filings they did started hurting days after they did it. I got that tooth repaired by them, but it began hurting again after a few months. At this point my front tooth looked as bad as my 14 year old filling did. When I went back the dentist said there was no guarantee with where that filling was, and I would have to pay to have it x rayed and fixed. I walked out. I'll give a competent dentist my money.

I was on the search for a new dentist. So they had a coupon for a gift card and they took my insurance. I made appointments for myself and husband. Get there and they are polite. X-rays were difficult it was pinching, in hind sight I should've sucked it up. My hygienist got a new one who was rude. She told me I was wrong when I gave a suggestion. Then she disappeared. Return with a qtip with numbing medicine. Before I could ask what it was she shoved in my mouth. I asked what she did and she said she numbed me. I was shocked. I was clearly upset and instead of apologizing for violating me she said it will wear off in a few minutes. So the finished the X-rays and left the room. I had expressed that I will finish the visit because I need my teeth cleaned but I won't be returning. The dr. Came in before they'd cleaned my teeth. He asked me to leave. I told him I would like my teeth cleaned and he said you're clearly upset so you should just go. So I left and went back to my old dentist that doesn't take my insurance. The X-rays they did take were horrible my new dentist couldn't use them :(
I would not recommend that place. It is fishy they have to do so much advertising and they aren't apart of the bbb. I tried to report them :(

This just might be the most unprofessional, rude, and dissatisfying experience I have ever had. Do not ever go there!! The coupons they send out in the mail are a joke! I went in for the $44 cleaning, had to pay them almost $200 they billed my insurance for over $200 and now they want another $110. And for what? A cleaning, some X-rays, and some fluoride? I will not be going back there, and I will not be recommending them to anyone I know.
