        We took our bichon here for grooming. Price was great, time taken was great, dog was happy and looked fantastic. Just called today to do it again.

        I took my 10 month old puppy, ...

        I took my 10 month old puppy, Zane, here to get a nail trim. A friend of mine suggested we go because they offered free trimming on this particular Tuesday. I had my reservations because it was free to begin with but like most people I tried it anyway. On a side note, Zane has only had a trim one other time and he did absolutely fine the entire time. I took him to a private owned grooming business.

        So, all seemed well when I got to pet supplies plus grooming department until Zane got his first nail clipped. He flipped out. My dog has a good temperament and I have never seen him so disturbed. I was disturbed not even half way through. I was considering and even told her not to finish if he couldn't relax but the lady didn't seem to concerned. He was obviously bleeding quite a bit and absolutely terrified. The worst part besides the bleeding, in order to get the best access to his back paw she had his leg pretty much twisted backwards. I was pretty mad at this point.

        All that to say, I feel horrible Zane had to experience that and now I'm sure taking him to get a trim will be a damn nightmare. i am also concerned that he could get an infection because she left open cuts. I do not recommend anyone taking their pets here, not for even other grooming purposes. None of the groomers seemed to give a rip about the animals sincerely.

        Please, take your pets to your vet or someone who truly knows what they are doing. After doing some research I realize trimming can be pretty intricate thing especially with black nails. And, when done incorrectly or quickly can be super painful for your pet.

        Quality is worth the cost 100%.

        Love this store. Wide variety of products including organic. If you have a pet wih specials needs go here. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Thay found me a better pet food and cheaper. Not to mention they have cute specialty treats for a pampered pet

        It's Pet Supplies PLUS. They have a wide range of pet supplies here, and that is their primary purpose. If you can't find what you need at Buckle's Feed Depot down on South 4th Street in Lafayette, then this is the place for you. Also, to the other reviewer who complained about them not taking manufacturer coupons on TOP of BOGO deals, that is a *very* standard practice. You're already getting one item for free with the purchase of one at RETAIL PRICE. If you wanted to use your coupon, then they would have gladly given you ONE item with your manufacturer's discount, but not two.

        I took my family in here spoke with a Michael he was great I was impressed with his knowledge on the questions I had. I was also impressed as well because he was in no hurry at all took as much time as we needed I would for sure recommend this store to any one who has pets in my book was A+ keep up the good work

        i guess this place is good! they dont have many birds, but they have alot of reptiles and a fair amount of rodents. they do have hermit crabs and lizards, and snakes. its a huge store with tons of pet supply items.

        I attended the Grand Opening event of this location. The store had many BOGO items, including 3.5 pound bags of Proplan dry food. In addition to the sale, I also had two manufacturer coupons that were save 5 dollars on Proplan dry food. I decided to make the drive (which is not around the corner) since I could get 7 pounds of food for .89 cents. Or so I thought. After arriving, I made my way to the cat supplies and grabbed my two bags of food. At the checkout, the cashier was unable to scan the coupons & asked for the managers assistance. The manager told me that I was unable to use my manufacturer coupons since the items were already on sale. I was pretty dumbfounded at that statement. The flyer advertising the BOGO items did not say manufacturer coupons could not be used nor did the coupons say anything about being used on sale items. Because of this coupon discrepancy this was my first time and last time shopping at Pet Supplies Plus. It was not a positive experience.
