The Montessori School of Lake Forest is a private, nonprofit educational institution that offers a range of academic programs to students up to the age of 15. The school serves more than 250 students and provides instruction in math, language arts, science and history. It conducts classes in music, physical education, reading and writing. The Montessori School of Lake Forest conducts field and research trips to libraries, laboratories, museums and theaters. The school provides a variety of food options for lunch. It also operates after- and before-school clubs. The Montessori School of Lake Forest provides parent infant and early childhood education programs, as well as organizes a summer camp. The school is affiliated with the Association Montessori Internationale and the Independent Schools Coordinating Council.
