Bennetts Riding

We had an excellent tie on the dinner ride.We had such a great time that we went Aug 27, 2015 and Oct 3, 2015. Laura and Grace were great guides very personable. We were fortunate to have Laura on the second ride also but Grace was busy with school the other guide (male) on the second ride was very helpful too. He and Laura helped move the horses into positions so that I could take pictures of the rest of our party. The first ride is was my family of 5. The Oct ride was the 5 of us plus my daughter's boyfriend it was his first time on a horse. Everyone had a great time both times. They serve a great dinner with a choice of steak, chicken, or fish. Corn on the cob, baked potato, salad, fruit, veggies, water, soda, and apple pie.

We will be back next year.

Well the experience started out nice. The ownerr drove us up to the stables and within a few minutes we were on the horses. Nice ppl...the owner was alittle dingy, but her husband was so nice and friendly..that made up for it. So before long we are headed out onthe trail on a beautiful peaceful afternoon. The trail was very rough with big rocks and the horses seemed to trip ALOT! MY horse was stubborn and kept stopping for grass which the guide told me was not allowed so after about the 10th time my horse stopped for grass the guide to me to "Kick the s*!#t out of him, untill he moves on" I didnt say anything...I was in shock. We finally were finishing up and my horse wanted to go a different way on the trail, I tried to move the reins toward the way we were going but my horse was too stubborn to listen, so the guide flew over on his horse very dramatically and grabbed the reins from me and dragged me and my horse over to the other trail....swearing and threatening the horses lives the whole way...again I was speechless. Within 5 minutes the ride was complete but the whole last 5 minutes the guide called the horses "as#*!#2"...I am worried for the horses, this guy was the a@!@$#* not the horses.....
